La médaille Kate Greenaway est un prestigieux prix britannique d'illustration en littérature d'enfance et de jeunesse. Il a été créé en souvenir de Kate Greenaway, une écrivaine et illustratrice anglaise de livres pour enfants. Il est décerné tous les ans depuis 1955, conjointement avec la Médaille Carnegie qui récompense les écrivains, par le Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP). 

Jusqu'en 2007, l'année se réfère à la date de publication du livre plutôt qu'au moment de la remise de la médaille. Pour l'année 2005, le lauréat a été annoncé, et le prix remis en 2006. En 1955 et 1958, le prix n'a pas été décerné car aucun livre n'a correspondu aux critères.
