SIR JOHN TENNIEL
English illustrator (1820-1914)
Biography:
English draughtsman and caricaturist, Sir John Tenniel has provided "Punch" (magazine directed by Mark Lemon) with more than 2000 caricatures. However, he became famous for having illustrated Lewis Carroll's books:
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Londres, Macmillan, 1865.
Through The Looking-glass and What Alice Found There Londres Macmillan, 1887, 13x18, 225 p., fountain pen, ink and crayon.
