WILLIAM STRANG
English illustrator (1859-1921)
Biography:
William Strang was born in Dumbarton in 1859. He studied at Dumbarton Academy and at Slade School. In 1875 he setlled down in Lon,don, where he began illustrating books. In 1881 he was selected at the Royal Society of Painters and Etchers and later on at the Royal Academy.
