German author-illustrator (1807-1876)

Biography:


Franz Graf von Pocci was born in Munich in 1807. He began as master of ceremonies for the King of Baviere, later he became master of orchestre and when Louis II got to the throne, he became First Porter of the King. He was a prolific artist , for he wrote for German puppets shows and he adapted and illustrated fairy tales.
