RENE GIFFEY
French illustrator (1884-1965)
Biography:
René Giffey was born in Paris in 1884. He published his first drawing in magazines of Paris. With the passing of the years his style becomes more personnal and you can recognize his femenine models at first sight. From 1905 on he illustrates children's books for Delagrave. In 1933 he begins with comic strips and in 1950 he draws Buffalo Bill.
