PIERRE FALKE



French illustrator (1884-1947)

Biography:


Pierre Falké was born in Paris in 1884. He was well-known for his humoristic drawings in newspapers in magazines, such as Le Crapouillot. He soon became a good illustrator. After taking part in some expeditions; he specialized himself in maritime views. He has illustrated more than 60 books.
