Biography:


Anthony Browne was born in 1946 in Sheffield. He attended Leeds College of Art for his graphic studies. At the beginning he was a medical illustrator, and later on he drew cards and posters. In 1976 he published his first book. He has been given many awards and now he is only devoted to childre'n literature.
