Biography:
Adolf Born was born in Ceské Velenice the 12th July 1930. He studied at Education Faculty of Charles University in Prague. Later on he attended Ecole d'Industrie d'Art and Academy of Plastic Arts. He is the author of 45 cartoon films for children. He has also exhibited in several countries and has illustrated 150 works. He received the Golden Apple in International Biennale of Bratislava and the Golden Medal in Leipzig.
