FRITZ BERGEN
German illustrator (1857-1941)
Biography:
Fritz Bergen was born in Dassau the 5th November 1857. He studied at Leipzig and worked in Munich as portrait painter. We owe him many calendars and illustrations meant for wood etching for young readers.
