Biography:


Cecil Aldin was born in Slough in 1870. He was under he influence of Leech and Randolph Caldecott and he drew cartoon in newspapers and magazines. His watercolours were highly admired. His illustrtions for Charles Dickens' Pickwick were very successful. He is also the author of children's books.
