In this sequel of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn runs away in a dinghy to Jackson Island, in the River Mississipi, where he fells free in peace.
Son of a violent drunkard, Huckleberry Finn was fostered by widow Douglas, a brave woman who tries to teach him good manners. But his biological father tries to kidnap him and thus Huckleberry Finn runs away and hides himself in the island. There he finds Jim, a fugitive black slave. Both runaways Raft down the Mississipi River to the South.
Huckleberry Finn narrates this journey: life in the river, small villages, adventurous people that they find on their way, swindlers... He is faced with danger but he manages to sort out all problems.
