Biography:

Eugene Ionesco was born in Stania (Romania) on 26th November 1912. His father was Rumanian but her mother was French, so he spent part of his childhoos in France and when he was 26, he got a grant to study in Paris.
He is known all through the world for being the father of Theatre of the Absurd, with pays like The Bald Soprano (1950), The Lesson (1951), The Chairs (1952), and his most famous Rhinoceros (1959). He also published some theoretical writings, like Notes and Counternotes (1962) and Fragments of a Journal (1966). Harlin Quist was the first printing house who decided to publish his books for children and his tales have been illustrated by such prestigious artists as Corentin, Claveloux or Delessert.
