LAURENT DE BURNHOFF
French author and illustrator (1925)
Biography:
Laurent de Brunhoff was born on 30th August in Paris. After studying Fine Arts at Academie de La Grande Chaumiere, he took his father's pen, Jean de Burnhoff, Babar's author. After the war, he began not only illustrating and writing more stories about Babar, but also making some posters, disk sleeves and characters for cartoon films. Since 1985, he lives in United States.
